The Problem: The hospital is a philanthropic initiative for the Eastern and North-Eastern parts of India and the neighboring countries established in the year 2005. It is located on 13 acres of land at New Town in Kolkata, West Bengal. The hospital is an integrated Oncology facility with well-trained professional staff and equipped with modern facilities and contemporary medical equipment. The Hospital, with a capacity of 437 beds, provides a wide spectrum of services from diagnosis and therapy to rehabilitation and palliative support.

Fuji Electric Solution: The team of engineers from Fuji Electric studied the requirements of the hospital and the various equipment that is used. It was noted that they have different cancer therapy equipment’s which demand pure sine wave and high inrush current during process of treatment and all equipment’s are very costly. Based on this the team recommended the installation of multiple units of Falcon UPS to support the various equipment as well as provide back up to the emergency lighting and server loads. A total of 29 nos of Falcon UPS from 40 to 120KVA capacity in parallel configuration have been installed.

Result: The customer is satisfied with the recommended solution from Fuji Electric as all operations of the hospital and equipment are being conducted in a smooth way
